uhhh still trying things out in ps, textures and stuff..i think i overdid it? i don't know i tried ou tso may textures,colors and stuff on this piece that i just can't look at it anymore -__- i may do some touches later i however like it's color scheme :)

I think you just slightly overdid it with the cherry blossoms as photo texture in it...it is not abstract as the rest of texture, it is still a recognizable photograph. So not only in contrast to normal texture but also to the inking and that is for me too much.
would have been cooler also like the inklines, so selfmade, and then in self transparancy as now the photograph. For me that would have fit allot better.

But just my view ;)
And i love the colors!!

i had a lot of doubt about the cherry blossom image, if i should put it or not..i guess i'll try adjusting it later,applying a more coherent and abstract texture... i seriously can't decide on anything right now :giggle: i need to not look at the piece for a while...
i did not get the self transparency and inklines point,could you reexplain what you said XD sorry

lol replace "self" transparancy with "same" transparancy as the photo blossoms have. ;) my mistake.
And with the inklines i meant: Maybe it is just too much to put a photograph in there (cause i think you wanted to use it as a texture, but its still too much a photograph) and for me that doesnt fit to the rest of the drawing, what i think is inked (maybe not, maybe its a pen:)). So i assumed, that if you would draw the cherry blossoms and then set it as a texture like now the photograph. It would fit allot better.

But think about it in one week and dont dare to look at the drawing in between ;) can do miracles, if you are able to forget about it.

not sure i can stand having doubts about a piece for a whloe weak, i actually started trying things out after i got your msg!i just can't stop myself..my eyes hurt!:ohnoes: lol i think i should go sleep :D

Yeah.
And about the doubts. Thats why i said you have to forget. And when oyu finally really did not think of it anymore for atleast one or two days. Then I am mostly mor objecktive about stuff ^^. Doesnt work all the time.
Sleep weel, I am stuck with a tv series i just got from my brother ^^
