I've always wondered, when I see something like this and I am gonna have to ask, is there a name to describe the technique used when there is no shading in the hair but stull you see the space where the hair is supposed to be??? I have seen it in many artists so far and I was wondering if this is a technique or something, since you are using it maybe you know about this?

gorgeous work :)

hey! well i dont know if there's a specific technique, but like you i;ve seen people do it and liked it, so what i did was just drew the hair where i want to be white, and made it look like there's some movement and you see strands of hair, then after i finished the drawing i added with white pen\paint so very thin hair to make it more realistic!
glad you like it :)

You know what, I think am ma give it a try at some point

just for practicing matters and stuff, I think is quite an
interesting technique though it wouldn't kill to know where
it originated, don't you think???

I love how you use negative space to create the hair. And the look on her face is quite stunning, her eyes are superb.

Wow, great job on the skin. I like that you kept the hair in white. It looks a bit like something's missing, and I mean that in a good way.

Very cool. I like the difference of the cold and the warm colours, and the negative space of her hair :)

I love the added depth to the faces in your paintings  The white hair is such a great choice to tie in the movements in this piece.
